On behalf of the entire Frankford Friends School community, I welcome you to our website and to our school. A Frankford Friends School education nurtures the whole child and develops each student’s intellectual curiosity, sense of self-worth, and deep respect for others.
Frankford Friends School offers a unique curriculum that emphasizes strong academics, including STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), research, and Spanish classes for all students in grades pre-Kindergarten through eight. We also have an award-winning music program, rich community service opportunities, and a Middle School experience that features a strong core-curriculum, unique electives, and year-long classes designed to build executive functioning: study skills in 6th grade, problem-solving in 7th grade, and leadership studies in 8th grade.
Small classes provide a warm, personalized setting in which each teacher knows every child well. Our teachers encourage the children’s best efforts and challenge them to think critically, communicate effectively, and successfully collaborate with others to ensure a positive learning experience.
As Head of School, I am proud to continue the Frankford Friends School’s 182-year tradition of excellence. I invite you to take a look at our website and then to visit Frankford Friends School. See for yourself how the Quaker beliefs in simplicity, cooperation, and peaceful problem-solving are reflected both in our program and in our community.
